Superwoman coming to the rescue
Concept:My concept was superhero. I want to transform me into a superhero which represents girl power and hero. I wanted to show that I have strength and power to show that I can do something. I used New York City because that is where i live and then change the sky to add a sad tone and to show that the world is not always happy. I am making me superhero because I want to show that i can change the world by using super power.
3. I am pretty happy with my results because I transform me into a superhero and and change the sky using layer mask successfully. I think it shows my concept and this project help me to improve my skills of photoshop. I also made a shadow successfully.

First I used a picture of me posing as a hero by selecting it with quick selecting tool and then copied it to paste in a new document. Then I selected it again and used brightness/contrast to change my face to contrast the background and me, making me the savior and the background dark. I used free transformation to change the position of me.
Next, I added a new layer and the background was New York City to show my setting, and where I live. I change the brightness to make it a little dark to match the sad tone of the sky.
Then, I added another background to show the dark cloudy sky and put the layer underneath the New York city image. To incorporate the dark sky in New York city, I used the layer mask by selected the sky in New York and then used an eraser to mask the dark sky into New York.
Then, i add the shadow by selecting me again and then doing a brightness/ contrast and then moving the original me and delete it.
Lastly, I used smudge on the cape and a building to show that i am flying and to blend a little to my background.
